I did this shoot long before Christmas but it was a gift for my wonderful and incredible grandparents (well technically grandparent in-law… is that a term?) but I love them just the same! Anyway, I could not blog because I did not want to ruin the surprise. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot… the older kids wanted to hurry to the basement (due to the coolest slot car track EVER thanks to their grandadddy) but I could have followed the youngest guy around for hours and photographed him! What a cutie!

Complete with brand new babies – so fresh and new, sweet cooing babies, laughing and running toddlers, children’s adorable personalities, wonderful newly engaged couples, and wow.. even a few weddings! My clients have made this year so complete! I feel so full of love! I have found my passion in photography and am so thankful for it every day! YOU have made 2009 complete for me and I thank you so much!!! I don’t know how to express adequately how thankful I am for each and every one of you!!

I get asked often if I “get tired of taking pictures”…. I can promise you this ‘NO!’. When I get tired of taking pictures, of learning and growing as a photographer, I will take time off and stop until the love and passion I feel for it is back! I feel that is what makes me a better photographer… I honestly love every.single.bit of it! I have made new friends, rocked countless babies, run with kids, giggled at toddlers, seen newly engaged couples so in love, witnessed marriages… I love it.

I feel complete with my family! We are in a place we LOVE, a community we are very happy to be a part of, my husband is happy in his job, my kids LOVE their school and teachers… because of my 3 (well, 4… can’t leave Blue out!) family members my life is complete! More full that I ever imagined! Thank you to my awesome family!

So cheers to 2009! It has been a wonderful fantastic crazy ride! Here are some of my favorite pictures! Personal and professional. Here’s to 2010! To my past, present, and future clients…. I CAN’T WAIT to see what 2010 has in store!!

I am so happy we have gotten to know this family better!! They are an amazing family, wonderful friends, and their smiles are just pure joy! I loved what their mom made, yes MADE, for them to wear! Check her out here!

He was soooo sweet. He did not make a peep the entire session, he was wide awake for some pictures then went right off to sleep for some pictures! What a sweet thing! He is very good at following directions… he did what I wanted (at only 8 days old) and he actually came the day his mommy was supposed to be induced…. naturally! What a good little boy! :) His mommy had the greatest taste in furniture and her house was beautiful!! Made for some fun shots!

I am so happy for these two amazing parents! Thank you for welcoming me into your home! I hope you and your families love the pictures of sweet Ashton!!
