One of the things I love most about my job is meeting wonderful families!! This was for sure one of them! I have to thank this fabulous family for passing my name on! Again, it was a dreary day (please weekends, I beg of you, can we have a nice one SOON!) but warm, cozy, bright, and happy in this house! This beautiful girls smile lit up the room!

I am so happy a friend of mine referred this wonderful family to me! They are amazing and so full of joy! It was a very yucky and rainy day, but their house was so happy and warm! I just love their girls smiles… it is like their mom’s smile — contagious! I can not believe how much the baby has grown since last time I saw her! I am so happy I get to watch her grow for this first year!! Pink and hop did join us in this photo shoot as well, their dad is am amazing sport and these girls are smiling at him in most shots! ;)
So wonderful to see you all again! I hope you love the pictures! I am already looking forward to next time!

I have said it before, but I LOVE the fact that my job reconnects me with old friends! This is one of the first girls I really talked to in my sorority in college. I noticed her immediately (because how can you not? she is gorgeous…) but then realized she was an amazing person and a great athlete — I really wanted to be her friend!! :) Now she is a wife, has a precious baby boy, and at 35 weeks pergnant (can you believe how amazing she looks!) she will have another baby boy soon. I LOVED spending time with your family and getting to know them! Thank you so much for inviting me into your home, I can not wait to meet your little boy!

First of all THANK ALL OF YOU SO MUCH for your sweet and kind comments yesterday! Sissy had a fabulous day and we are so excited about contributing a little to CHOA!!!! It means a lot those of you who took the time to comment. Thanks again!!
I had SO much fun with this couple! They laughed and joked with each other the whole time. They made the session so easy and so much fun! You would never know it was like 40 degrees and sprinkling/misting rain! They were awesome! They were just themselves and I loved it! I can not wait to meet their beautiful baby girl!!
A very special day for me! My ‘baby’ is turning 3! She came out a fighter from day 1. She fought her way to survival… on the ventilator for 48 hours, a blood transfusion, a couple other hospital visits later she is a healthy, thriving, and at times a bonkers 3 year old!! I am so proud of her and have been since the moment she was born. I have not taken a moment of her sweet little life for granted. She surely lives her life to the fullest!! She is my daughter who wants a 4 wheeler for Christmas, she does not even know a single disney princess, she wants to do everything her big brother does, she runs, tumbles, climbs walls (and doors literally!), sings although she cannot pronounce the words, laughs, eats like there is no tomorrow, swings, bounces, runs, jumps, loves her best buddy Blue, gives her parents fits most days, swims, squeels, loves to dress up: fireman, superman, batman, spiderman, a dancer, bumblebee, frog, high heels, camo you name it, although she can be a total terror she is our wonderful bundle of joy!
In honor of sissy… for every comment on this blog I will donate 1 dollar to Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta! I think the most comments I have had on 1 post is around 15… please, people… don’t make me donate $15. Everyone comment, blog stalkers comment, family comment! I can’t wait to make a donation in sissy’s honor!

Beautiful ceremony in a gorgeous home in Atlanta! Perfect, the whole family right there to love and support them! They say rain is lucky on your wedding day, if that is the case they will have MUCH luck! :) It was very dreary outside, but bright and full love love and warmth inside!

I was so thrilled to get the call from Caroline asking me to shoot her wedding….. 3 weeks later! :) Caroline and John had a beautiful, small, Sunday morning, family wedding in a gorgeous home in Atlanta! For planning it in such a short time every single thing fell into place and it was perfect!

10 months old!! I can’t believe it. It is so much fun to look back and see how much he has grown! I am having SO MUCH fun documenting his first year!! He and his mommy are so very special to me!
I hope his daddy likes these…. I had to laugh… what a little man, he went through ALL the emotions of a basketball game in the 5 – 10 minutes I took pictures! ha! Love it!
